About

I am a New Englander, born and bred, and I cannot imagine living anywhere else. I lived in a small town in central Massachusetts for most of my life, but moved to Vermont in 2004 after buying a house here, in an even smaller town (a village as we say in Vermont). I sing with two community chorales, I tend my gardens, I knit and read and take my English Setter on walks in the woods and fields where we are treated to stunning mountain views. I am an avid photographer and never lack for subjects in this lovely area of the country, or with my beloved dog. I work part time for an investment advisory group nearby after being unexpectedly unemployed for fifteen months. I am hopeful that the position will become full time soon.

I lead a quiet life, but that suits me well. I have never been one for the hustle and bustle of the city and ascribe to the popular saying “Nice to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there!” I have two grown children, a son and a daughter who live in Massachusetts.

My blog was started at the suggestion of a local author and friend and I enjoy posting stories from time to time.  It is quiet and peaceful, much like my life.  I hope you enjoy the glimpses it offers of my world.
